Bernadette Coveney Smith is the nation’s leading same-sex wedding expert. She is founder and president of 14 Stories, the first company in the U.S. specializing in planning legal same-sex weddings. 14 Stories has offices in New York and Boston.

 

Eight years ago, when gay marriage was first legalized in Massachusetts, Bernadette envisioned a wedding production company for engaged same-sex couples looking to navigate a traditional wedding industry. Since 2004, she and her team have produced hundreds of gay and lesbian weddings, working with couples from 33 U.S. states.

Xochitl is a graduate of Brown University with a dual degree in Sculpture and Art History where she worked designing, stitching costumes and making hats for the University’s theater department.

 

Upon graduating she worked for a short time in a SoHo art gallery.

Enthusiast and with a wide range of interests, Carmen has managed to get involved in a series of disciplines, with professional experience in media advertising, sales, relationship management, marketing, promotion, real estate & hospitality.

Andrinique is originally from New York City born and raised. After working as Director of Human Resources for a luxury brand retailer for over 15 years and specializing in Recruitment & Employee Relations, Andrinique decide to turn her 10 year event and wedding planning weekend hobby into a fulltime career, relocated to Los Angeles and founded Andrinique Special Events in 2004.
